Parotta or Porotta is a Subcontinental layered flatbread, alternatively known as flaky ribbon pancake.
Kerala parotta is like north India’s Laccha Paratha. The main difference is that Kerala Parottaa is made of Maida(flour) and requires more measure to prepare a very soft dough for delicate batter. Traditional Kerala Paratha is knead continuously for an hour and its surfacehas to be similar to that of a pastry. The outer layer of Kerala Paratha is soft and crunchy.
